These three components makeup 93% of the average alkaline battery. Our process is superior to our competitors, in that these components are recovered using minimal energy outlay – at purity levels on par with virgin materials.

Alkaline Processing Material Impact

There are numerous applications for recovered critical minerals.
The most notable is our zinc and manganese concentrate that is extracted from alkaline batteries, which can be used as a dietary supplement. At Cirba Solutions, this concentrate is used as a source of micronutrients in fertilizers, supporting the growth of crops such as corn and soybeans.
